Scotland
Scotland celebrates Halloween as no other country does. On October 31, Scotland delivers an authentic Halloween experience with haunted castles, frightful events, hair-raising ghost stories, and terrifying hikes through the woods.
Halloween’s Scottish origins. Like many ancient holidays, Halloween originated in pre-Christian Scotland, where people would gather to celebrate Halloween, a night that marked the end of summer and the beginning of winter: the passing of the light and the arrival of the dark.
The most common Halloween custom in Scotland is still dressing up in costumes and going trick-or-treating; this custom dates back to a time before any Marvel movies entered the public awareness.
Transylvania, Romania
Halloween is a holiday observed in several regions of Romania, especially Transylvania, on October 31 every year. It is a period when popular excursions and entertainment with a Halloween theme are offered. So, please make an effort to participate in it.
Nothing compares to the seven-day G Adventures unique Halloween in Transylvania vacation, which promises ghosts, ghouls, and frightful fun. This unique journey will allow you to view gothic architecture and undiscovered areas of Romania, a rapidly developing country. You will get the opportunity to see mediaeval towns and cities, attend a Halloween costume party, learn more about the history of the celebration, and visit castles while on this trip. Romania is the place to go for Halloween in Europe.
Ireland
For Halloween, folks in Ireland remember the story by carving a hollowed-out turnip with a spooky “face” and burning it with a candle. Irish immigrants to America throughout the years carried on the custom using brightly coloured pumpkins that are simpler to carve, which is how the custom eventually caught on around the world.
Halloween is now observed in Ireland in a manner that is remarkably similar to that of the United States. Halloween is when adults and kids dress up as witches, ghosts, zombies, and other macabre characters to attend fancy dress events or go door-to-door for candy.
Italy
Halloween, also known as All Hallows Eve, historically marked the start of the All-Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day celebrations. Even while these are still the most widely observed holidays in Italy, Halloween is undoubtedly becoming more and more popular. It’s just another day to party and revel for many Italians.
The historic town of Corinaldo is located in the Le Marche area. With frightening attractions and a festival of fire, lights, and music scheduled for October 31, it bills itself as the Italian Capital of Halloween.
Prague
One of the local children’s favourite fall activities is Fursuit Halloween Prague. Only once a year do so many fuzzy creatures parade through Prague’s historic district. If you wear a fursuit, you may sign up and join the procession that travels from the Kampa docks to Jan Palach Square and across the riverfront. Along with the procession, the Bohemian Rhapsody cruise ship will take guests on an unusual fursuit cruise along the Vltava River. The boat travels down the picturesque quay before passing beneath the Charles Bridge and arriving at Kampa Island.
Amsterdam
Something enjoyable like Halloween must be noticed when you consider the Netherlands. Amsterdam on Halloween. You want to take advantage of it since it becomes more prominent and significant each year. You’ll want to attend a few gatherings and activities this year!
The sunny days and mild evenings make October’s weather in Amsterdam ideal for travelling. The tulips start to blossom as the days get shorter, and the sights of the fields and the fresh, calming scent make your trip even more worthwhile at this time of year.
Mexico
From October 31 to November 2, Halloween is one of Mexico’s biggest and most well-known events. Partygoers attend parades and celebrations, wear outrageous makeup and costumes, sing and dance, and make offerings to departed loved ones in towns and communities all around Mexico.
New Orleans
New Orleans, which comes to life even more as September ends, is one of the best spots to celebrate Halloween. Houses are colourfully lit, with some—like the Berger Residence—being exceptionally decorated yearly, while spooky houses open wide their doors. The gloomy ambience of the French Quarter is enough to draw spooky spectators. Still, the calendar of spooky activities, including parades and haunted funeral homes, awakens the spooky holiday mood in all of us.
Salem
The fall is a fantastic time to travel here. It’s a terrific destination to enjoy autumn because of its spectacular fall foliage, pumpkin fields, and rich American history.
Undoubtedly, one of the most popular Salem attractions is the Witch House. This is a fantastic resource for a basic, factual historical summary of the Salem witch trials. Jonathan Corwin, a judge in the 1692 witchcraft trials, once resided at this house. It may not be a surprise that The Witch House is one of the potentially haunted locations in New England, given that it was also
the scene of a family tragedy and that Judge Corwin was renowned for being very stern and unforgiving.
Belgium
In addition to being a fantastic spooky place to spend Halloween, Belgium is another nation well recognised for its methods of commemorating Halloween customs. However, holidays in Belgium are observed with a different widespread passion than in America, and Belgium’s many cultures result in slightly distinct Halloween traditions. These days, most of Belgium’s cities celebrate this occasion with large festivals and plenty of parties.
