Visit the NARUTO & BORUTO Theme Park in Osaka to immerse yourself in the world of anime
This park is jam-packed with fun activities and attractions that will transport you to the world of anime.
Meet your favourite characters, including Naruto, Sasuke, Gaara, Itachi, and others!
In Naruto Theme Park, you can now visit “The Real-Life Hidden Leaf Village!”. Nijigen no Mori is an anime-themed park that opened in Hyogo Prefecture on Awaji Island. The park is designed to make visitors feel as if they are entering the world of their favourite characters.
The park has become increasingly popular as a natural beauty spot where visitors can immerse themselves in anime and manga worlds. The park chose the internationally recognised Naruto as its latest addition to attract more visitors from both home and abroad.
Become a ninja by getting lost in a maze or riding a train like your favourite ninjas. Collect all the missing seals, the ones used for the Sealing Jutsu in trials and challenges, or relax in one of the restaurants, including Naruto’s favourite ramen shop: Ichiraku Ramen.
Visitors can feel like they’ve stepped into Naruto’s world in an 8,000-square-metre plot nestled in one of the park’s tranquil forests. Visitors can find a recreation of the series’ Hokage Rock and life-size models of many characters at the park. The park has a variety of attractions for visitors of all ages, including a three-story maze with quizzes and goals to complete. Fans can take photos and videos of themselves doing some of the series’ trademark ninja moves at a booth that uses augmented reality (AR) technology.
It’s called Shinobi-zato, in Nijigen-no-Mori, which translates to “two-dimensional forest” in Japanese. Nijigen-no-Mori is located on the island of Awaji, which is close to Kobe. It’s only an hour from Kobe, so if you’re planning a trip to the Osaka area, this could be one of your stops!
The park itself is lovely and full of life. Nijigen no Mori is a massive national park, and it’s a great place to relax, unwind, and maybe even have a picnic. You can even hear the birds chirping.
Shinobi-zato is divided into two missions, and it is the park’s main attraction.
You will be given two scrolls when you arrive at the park: Ten-no-makimono and Chi-no-makimono. Ten-no-Maki is the “Scroll of Heaven”, and Chi-no-Maki is the “Scroll of Earth”. You will use these scrolls to complete quizzes such as mission and maze missions. To solve them, you only need to look at symbols and pictures, so there’s no need to worry about a language barrier.
You must complete quizzes along the way to complete the chi-no-maki mission.
At the end of each section, you’ll find a clue. Ninja missions are a lot of fun to participate in and experience. Although the quiz is not challenging to complete, I believe it will be enjoyable for both adults and children. To take part in these missions, you should be reasonably fit.
Hokage Rock, which stands in the middle of Shinobi-zato, is undoubtedly one of the park’s highlights. As a huge Naruto fan, this will completely captivate you! It is located in front of the maze.
How many of you can name all of the Hokage at this point?
The athletic maze just behind the Hokage Rock is where you go for the rest of the missions, Ten-no-maki.
Uchiha and Uzumaki are the two courses available. As his character suggests, Uchiha is a more intellectual course, while Uzumaki is a more active course. You can choose to do both or just one of them. Depending on how well you complete the course, it can take 30 minutes to 2 hours. On this mission, one thing you must do is collect stamps as you go.
RAMEN ICHIRAKU will undoubtedly become one of your favourite parts of the NARUTO theme park! It’s not like a manga-style in-door shop, but you can use the tables outside instead.
Shio, miso, and tonkatsu (pork-based) ramen are available. Tonkatsu ramen is prepared in the Hakata style, with a silky white soup and thin, hard noodles. NARUTO is the Japanese name for a swirled fish cake, if you don’t know. You’ll be hooked on the rich broth, thin noodles, and character-decorated seaweed! Sasuke’s favourite onigiri rice balls, Akatsuki Cloud Okonomiyaki, and Orochimaru Sausage Coil are also available.
All these characters are pretty relatable to kids, and as they grow, they understand and love the characters even more. Naruto is a fantastic anime character. At the start of the series, all main characters are introduced. It is where Naruto has outdone any other show. Naruto is one of the best anime characters.
Nijigen no Mori appeals to all ages, from children to adults, and even those unfamiliar with the shows. Foreign visitors can enjoy the park’s pamphlets and displays in English and Chinese.
Anyone can accept Naruto’s unique lines: “When you give up, your dreams and everything else, they’re gone.”
You will achieve nothing if you give up without putting up a fight. Otherwise, you’ll end up hurting yourself. In all of Naruto’s fights, we’ve seen not only skill and strength but also determination.
All Naruto fans may wish to visit the Naruto theme park. Why don’t you think about achieving it? I am confident that all, from children to adults, will enjoy it. Even if you are not a fan, you will appreciate it. So, hurry up and pay a visit as it is worth a visit.
