Singapore, also known as the “Lion City” or “Garden City” for its many parks and tree-lined streets, has also been dubbed “Instant Asia” because it provides tourists with an expedited glimpse into the cultures brought to it by immigrants from all over Asia.

Singapore is, without a doubt, one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations. According to World Tourism Organization statistics and rankings, it is the fifth most visited city by international tourist arrivals.

Singapore, also known as the Little Red Dot, has made up for its small size with dazzling skyscrapers, luxurious hotels, fantastic tourist attractions, and expansive shopping malls.

Singapore is a city with many personalities – there is so much to love! The list continues with the modern architecture, clean green streets, vibrant culture, and rich heritage.

Its modern culture is a fusion of Asian and European cultures, influenced primarily by Malay, South Asian, East Asian, and Eurasian influences. Singapore has been dubbed “East meets West” and “Gateway to Asia”.

Singaporeans are proud of their country’s healthcare system, cleanliness, and armed forces, according to an Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) study on national pride and identity. Singaporeans are very friendly and helpful, as well as courteous. Therefore, you can have a good time there.

It is a city made up of 64 islands rather than just one.

Singapore’s land area includes up to 64 offshore islands surrounding the main island, of which many people are unaware. These include Sentosa, a popular island resort with numerous attractions and nature preserves such as Pulau Ubin, St John’s Island, and Sisters’ Islands. That means more fun in the sun for visitors!

The SkyHelix is Singapore’s tallest open-air panoramic ride and Sentosa’s first carbon-neutral attraction.

Take to the skies on SkyHelix Sentosa, Singapore’s highest open-air panoramic ride! Sit in an open-air gondola that rotates as it ascends to 79 metres above sea level. Allow your hair to fall, dangle your feet in the air, and relax while sipping a cool drink.

We recommend leaving caps and hats at home unless they are securely fastened. Every ride lasts about 12 minutes, including 10 minutes at the top when the gondola slowly rotates to provide 360-degree views of Sentosa and the Greater Southern Waterfront.

Hiya! I’m Iqra Hyatt, a Vibes Group UK content creator who enjoys writing. I enjoy exposing myself to new and exciting environments. I also appreciate coming up with new ways to share knowledge with travellers by creating new materials. Everyone deserves a break from the screen now and then to avoid reality. Travel allows us to fully immerse ourselves in the present moment, allowing us to be anybody, go anywhere, and do whatever we desire. As a result, I’d want to share the results of my research through fantastic articles on holiday destinations. You don’t need a magic trick or a magical location to melt a barricade; you need a desperate desire to travel and an excellent choice. My heart longs to travel the length and breadth of infinity. Find an undiscovered location and learn new skills that will set you apart from the crowd! Have a pretty good day! Good vibes only!
