Have you ever heard of a land that takes you through anything you want? I have, and that is the land of long white clouds. My love for this place would never break my heart or go away from my heart! It’s a gem in the earth that loves you like how it nurtures the lives in it. And I am talking about New Zealand!
New Zealand is a place on the earth that I would never mind returning to again and again. Titled the land of long white clouds, it is a place where you can forget yourself! Talking about it, I am a person who wants to be an absolutely different personality when I travel. I forget about everything in my home town, including my routine, work, and fears, and become a person who wants to have fun, live in the moment, try new things, try adventure and soak in anything to everything, including my love for nature! The list is endless!
If you wish to be that kind of person, then New Zealand is a must-visit for you. Yes! It is where you can get anything out of your mind and live in the moment! The feel of love, warmth, secure it gives me is just infinity. And the other fact is that it is the land of LAVENDER!! What do we need more? My love is complete! Take a look at my pills if you want to get into the land of long white clouds!
Diving Along Dolphins
Many people desire the sensation of swimming with dolphins, and for a good reason—it is fantastic! There are several locations in New Zealand where you can swim with wild dolphins. They swim with you willingly; they aren’t in a tank. Dolphins are notoriously warm and friendly, so they often choose to join swimmers up close.
My top two picks of places would be Kaikoura and Akaroa. The marine life of Kaikoura is legendary, and you’ll have a good chance of seeing dolphins, whales, and seals. At Akaroa, you can swim with the world’s smallest and rarest dolphin, the Hector’s Dolphin – one of my favourite dolphins!
Take a Leap From the Tallest Cliff on the Planet
Shotover Canyon Swing is the world’s largest cliff jump. An adrenaline-pumping experience awaits you over the famous Shotover River outside of Queenstown. It is 109m high and has 60m of thrilling vertical freefall before swinging over 200m into the canyon. The types of jumps you can attempt depending on your creativity (or fear level!)
Plunge in the Purest Lake
The world’s clearest lake, Blue Lake, is located in Nelson Lakes National Park, which is another “best in the world” attraction in New Zealand. This transparent gem has visibility up to an astonishing 80 metres, making it nearly as “optically clear” as distilled water. Make sure to include this magnificent icon on your South Island (Te Waipounamu) itinerary.
Sight the Sunrise Before Anyone Else in the World
Have you ever wondered where on earth one can see the first sunrise of the day? Wonder no longer! The East Cape, located north of Gisborne, New Zealand, has the honour of witnessing the first sunrise every day. That’s cool. If you’re here around the New Year, you will be among the first to glimpse the dawn of a new day and the first to see the beginning of a new year.
Customise a Culture; Jade Carving
One of the most sought-after types of Jade comes from New Zealand. Jade, or pounamu as it is known in Maori, is prized for its superior quality and has significant cultural importance in New Zealand. You can join in Jade carving lessons throughout New Zealand’s South Island and create a unique gift to bring back with you. My two top-rated workshops (listed on TripAdvisor) to visit would be the Te Koha Gallery and Bonz’ N Stonz Carving Studio. Have fun while experiencing the finest culture in New Zealand!
Endless Love for Lavender
Who doesn’t adore the bright blue, purple lavender blossom? When seen in a field of purple, they are even more striking when they are in full bloom. To soak in the incredible lavender experiences, tour lavender fields in New Zealand between November and the end of January when the blossoms are flowering at their best!
New Zealand Alpine Lavender is one of the premier and the biggest organic lavender farm in the Southern Hemisphere. At 600 metres above sea level, the lavender field is flanked by Ben Oahu Mountain. While basking in the blossoms of Pacific Blue, Avice Hill and Violet Intrigue, try my favourite, Love lavender blueberry ice cream!
Best Burger in Nz
In my view, the finest burger restaurant in New Zealand is Fergburger. Thousands of visitors visit this little burger business on Shotover Street in Queenstown every day to see if Fergburger actually lives up to its name. It absolutely does! I would rank it as the greatest burger in New Zealand, and it deserves to be listed among the top things to do there! There are about 20 burger variations, including vegetarian alternatives, on the menu. Despite that, my go-to burger and a must-try in New Zealand is the “Classic Ferg.”
There is something everyone in New Zealand! They make you feel at home and make you fall in love. Even if you leave your heart behind, you will go back home with a treasure chest of memories.
