Getting to the cave is a lot of fun since you must walk across various streams, down muddy pathways, and through dense forests for an hour before reaching the entrance.
Within the cave, you will have to wade through shallow and often narrow water tunnels in almost complete darkness (you will be given a torchlight for this), as your body is half-submerged in raging water, for about 30 minutes before arriving at the exit on the other end of the cave. It is an exciting and demanding activity, so prepare for the hike and wear clothes that you don’t mind getting wet.
Safari Boating Adventures on Cheow Lan Lake
Most overnight excursions to Cheow Lan Lake include a safari boat ride around the lake, where you may see various wildlife, including wild buffalos and the Great Hornbill. They will take you on two safari rides: one in the evening and one in the early morning when the jungle is most active. The early safari ride provides the best opportunity to view animals. We spotted monkeys, big hornbills, buffaloes, and wild boars. It was an unmissable experience. Explore The Stunning Kri Sorn Viewpoint in Khao Sok
Kri Sorn Viewpoint, which sits atop a steep limestone mountain, offers one of the greatest views of Cheow Lan Lake. From here, visitors may enjoy a panoramic view of Cheow Lan Lake and its surroundings. To trek to Kri Sorn Viewpoint, ensure your tour takes you there. A journey that lasts more than one night usually includes the opportunity to see Kri Sorn Viewpoint, but confirm it with your tour operator before booking.
The trek is moderate in effort, with a 1.5-hour gentle uphill hike to the peak’s base. You’ll have to struggle up the steep mountain face for around 30 minutes to reach the summit. The final section is the most demanding and exhausting, but once you see the vista, all your fatigue vanishes.

Khlong Phanom National Park is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and costs far less than Khao Sok National Park, making it an ideal alternative.
