The birthplace of L.M. Montgomery is the small museum. The staffs are accommodating and friendly. An extensive collection of Maud’s scrapbooks and letters and a replica of her wedding gown are among the collection’s highlights. Due to light damage, the original had to be removed from the display. There is also an excellent selection of gifts and books for sale at the museum. They usually have book signings by local historians and authors as well. The cost is meagre, as it is with most small museums.

Canadian Potato Museum is located in O’Leary, Prince Edward Island, Canada. Outside its front door is a giant potato, and inside is a display of diseased potatoes in tiny coffins. The museum was expanded in 2012 to include all of Canada’s potato varieties.

The North Cape Coastal Drive is a 350-kilometre scenic route that starts in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, and winds its way north along the island’s western coast to the North Cape.
